We want every Dermeva purchase to feel right. This page explains how returns and refunds work in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
90-Day Money-Back Guarantee
You have 90 days from the delivery date to request a refund on any Dermeva product, even if the bottle has been opened. To start a return, email support@getdermeva.com with your order number. We reply within one business day with the return address and instructions.
UK 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you also have a separate 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, beginning on the day you receive your order. To cancel, email us with the words "Notice of Cancellation" — no reason needed. We refund the price of the product and the standard outbound delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the goods back. This statutory right runs alongside our 90-day guarantee.
Condition and Restocking Fee
- Returned bottles can be opened and partly used.
- We may apply a small restocking fee (typically up to 15%) if a returned item arrives damaged through misuse, is missing the carton, or shows signs of tampering.
- Sample sachets and free gifts do not need to be returned.
Final Sale Items
- Gift cards.
- Items marked "Final sale" at checkout.
- Products purchased from a third-party retailer (please contact that retailer).
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
You do not need to return damaged or wrong items. Email a photo plus your order number to support@getdermeva.com within 30 days of delivery and we will ship a replacement within one business day at no cost.
Return Shipping Costs
- Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders: we cover everything.
- UK 14-day cooling-off returns: cost of return is yours; we refund standard outbound shipping.
- Other 90-day-guarantee returns: cost of return shipping is yours.
We recommend a tracked or signed-for service.
Refund Timing
We inspect returns within 2 business days and refund to the original payment method. Most banks then post the refund within 3 to 10 business days.
Customs on International Returns
Mark international return packages as "Returned goods — no commercial value" on the customs form. Returns shipped without that declaration may attract import duties, which we will deduct from your refund.
Cancellations Before Dispatch
We pack quickly — the window for changes is roughly one hour. Email hello@dermeva.com with your order number. If it has already shipped, the easiest path is to let it arrive and start a return.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. UK customers retain rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, as described). Canadian customers retain rights under provincial consumer-protection legislation. US customers retain rights under federal and state consumer-protection law.
